IEM Food Grant

The Inborn Error of Metabolism (IEM) Programme provides monthly financial assistance to approved grantees with protein metabolic disorders to assist with the purchasing of low protein foods.

Metabolic Clinics

The Metabolic Clinics around Australia provide comprehensive diagnostic and management services for children and adults with inborn errors of metabolism. As these diseases are complex and affect many organ systems, children and adults who may have one of these conditions should be cared for by medical experts in the field.

Government Allowances

A Carer Allowance is an income supplement for carers who provide additional daily care and attention for someone with a disability or medical condition, or who is frail aged. Ex-Carer Allowance (Child) Health Care Card assists those caring for a child under 16 years. It helps you with cheaper medicines and some other concessions.
